About S&T Construction Group

We Put Buildings Up.
We Keep Buildings Working.

S&T Construction Group is a design-build fabric building and steel erection contractor working across Canada. Industrial owners, municipalities, miners and farmers call us for the same three reasons: certified crews, engineered work, and straight answers.

Our Story

Built In The Field,
Not The Boardroom.

S&T started where fabric buildings live — on site. Before we ran projects, we tensioned covers, replaced cables and stood on trusses in weather most contractors schedule around. That field DNA still runs the company: the people quoting your project have done the work they're pricing.

Today we deliver the full lifecycle — design-build installations, repairs, recovers, inspections, relocations and steel erection — across British Columbia, Alberta and Saskatchewan. One contractor, accountable from the first site visit to the last torque check.

Design. Build. Manage. It's on the logo because it's the whole model: we design it right, build it safe, and stand behind it for the life of the structure.

What We Stand On

Three Non-Negotiables.

Every quote, every crew, every project runs on the same principles.

Straight Answers

If a repair will do, we won't sell you a recover. If the building's done, we'll say so. Fixed prices, honest scopes, no surprises on the invoice.

Engineered, Always

Fabric buildings are structures, not tents. Everything we touch is backed by engineering — loads, anchors, lift plans and torque specs, documented.

Everyone Goes Home

Working at height in wind and cold is our daily reality. Our safety program isn't paperwork for owners — it's how our crews get home every night.

Why Choose S&T

What You Get That
You Won't Get Elsewhere.

Any Manufacturer

We're brand-agnostic. Britespan, Norseman, Coverco, Calhoun, Sprung, ClearSpan — we install, repair and recover them all, so you get the right building and one contractor for whatever's already on your site.

Full Lifecycle

Most companies sell buildings or fix them. We do both, which means the people installing your structure are the same ones who'll inspect it in year five and recover it in year twenty. Nobody knows your building better.

Site-Ready Crews

ISNetworld® membership, CWB-certified welding and a documented safety program mean we clear industrial contractor requirements before mobilization — not after your project stalls in vendor onboarding.

Canada Range

From the BC Interior to the Saskatchewan prairie, we go where the work is — remote sites, active operations and fly-in jobs included, with logistics priced into the quote up front.

Safety

Height, Wind, Cold.
Managed Daily.

Fabric building work concentrates the hardest parts of construction: working at height, handling large membranes in wind, rigging and crane picks, and doing it all through Western Canadian winters.

Our program is built for exactly that: site-specific hazard assessments, documented fall protection plans, wind-speed work limits for cover handling, equipment inspections and daily FLHA — integrated with owner permit-to-work systems on industrial sites.

Ask for our safety statistics and program documentation with your quote. We share them without hesitation.
